Important Updates & Announcements

Are You Over 65?
Book for a free flu vaccination.

The best time to get your annual flu vaccine in Australia is from April onwards, ideally in May. This ensures strong protection during peak flu season, which runs from June to September, with cases peaking in August.

The vaccine takes two weeks to work and offers peak protection for about 3 to 4 months. Getting it too early may reduce its effectiveness later in the season.

Flu strains change each year, so yearly vaccination is essential—even if you’re healthy. It’s especially important for older adults, children, pregnant women, and those with health conditions. Speak to your doctor if unsure.
